Education
over obstacles
Over a decade helping build better lives
Our story began in 2012 when our founder, Brian Hill, recognized a need for better educational opportunities in correctional facilities. He saw firsthand how limited access to education was holding incarcerated individuals back and contributing to high rates of recidivism. In response, we set out to create a tablet-based platform that could provide meaningful educational programming to those who needed it most.

Trusted & innovative leaders in Correctional education
Since our founding, we have grown from a small startup to a national leader in correctional education and rehabilitation. We currently serve hundreds of correctional facilities and tens of thousands of incarcerated learners across the country, and have partnerships with some of the most respected organizations in the field of corrections, education and rehabilitation. But don’t just take it from us! Awards, publications, grants, and partnerships all around the country have recognized the momentum and impact of Edovo, including Grow with Google, MacArthur Foundation, Chicago Community Trust, Impact Engine, SXSW, and much more.
Creating a lasting impact for bright futures
At Edovo, we are committed to making a real difference in the lives of incarcerated individuals. We believe that education is a powerful tool for transformation, and we have seen firsthand how our programming can help incarcerated learners build skills, improve their outlook, and prepare for a successful reentry into society. We are proud of the work we have done over the past ten years, and we are excited to continue growing and expanding our impact in the years to come.
